Cal Williams > The restored 220-foot steamboat Ticonderoga, a National Historic Landmark, is the last walking beam side-wheel passenger steamer in existence. Built in Shelburne, Vermont in 1906, it operated on Lake Champlain until 1953. The Ticonderoga was moved two miles overland from the lake to the Shelburne Museum in1955.
